National Organisations


The National Association of People Living with HIV/AIDS (NAPWA) is the peak non-government organisation representing people living with HIV/AIDS in Australia. NAPWA is a national body providing advocacy, policy, education and outreach for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations. As well as representing Australia's community-based response to HIV/AIDS, AFAO's work includes education, policy, advocacy and international projects. AFAO also publishes HIV Australia. This quarterly publication contains news, commentary and debate on current issues relating to HIV/AIDS. AFAO's comprehensive links page is also a very useful resource.
